Now, there are 100s of resources available online, but we at Resource Miner have compiled the best of them and here’s our list of the best Accounting resources available online for Free! All the resources aren’t completely free but still, they provide a valuable piece of knowledge. These resources will help you learn Accounting in general, and do not target any specific professional course. So, without any further due, let’s begin.

1. LEARN ACCOUNTING FOR FREE

This is the first one on our list. As the name suggests, this is a completely free online resource. Now, this one has also been featured in one of our earlier blogs. ‘Top 5 Accountings Resources’. Here’s a link to that article. This is one of our personal favourites. This website provides 75+ hours of videos and 100s of problems and exercises. The website divides the whole course into 14 parts and the candidate can complete it as per his/her own pace. The course covers all the important concepts such as Inventory, Long term Operating Asset Management, Cost Volume Profit Analysis, etc. The website also offers a Glossary which can be useful to those who’re new to the subject.

2. ACCOUNTING COACH

The second one on our list is the Accounting Coach. This is a platform which can be useful for students, as well as professionals. Now, this resource can be divided into 3 parts. The free part, Accounting Coach PRO, Accounting Coach Pro+. Now, let’s look at the best part, the FREE part! The website provides you complete information about Bookkeeping, Financial & Managerial Accounting. The free version is only restricted to written explanations and quizzes. As you upgrade to the PRO or the PRO+ version, you’ll be able to access their guides, cheat sheets and flashcards. You need to pay a one-time subscription fee which gives you lifetime access. The PRO+ version also offers certificates of achievement. Both, PRO and the PRO+ subscriptions grant you the access to Seminar Videos, video tutorials, Quick tests, Cheat Sheets and Progress Tracking. As you upgrade to PRO+, you’ll be granted 8 Certificates once you complete the whole course. Accounting Coach Pro starts at 49 USD or 3700 INR (approximately) and Accounting Coach PRO+ starts at 99 USD or 7500 INR.

3. MY ACCOUNTING COURSE

This is the 3rd one on our list. ‘My Accounting Course’ is a website that provides resources for Accounting in general and CPA as well. Coming to the Accounting part, the website provides a piece of considerable information regarding Financial Accounting, Financial Statements, Financial Ratio Analysis, etc. Currently, the website explains concepts only via articles and illustrations. There’s also a PRO version of the website that will be released shortly. The PRO version will provide over 50 hours of video lectures, cheat sheets, flashcards, excel worksheets and practice quizzes. There is a waiting list of those who’d like to purchase My Accounting Pro. We don’t have the pricing structure as of now, but we’ll surely update you guys on that part. 4. FREE BOOKKEEPING ACCOUNTING.COM

This is yet another free online resource. As you log on to the website, you’ll see a simple yet informative interface. The website provides valuable knowledge, not only about basic accounting concepts but also about various applications used by accountants such as MS Excel, Sage Accounts, Quick Books Online, Xero and many more. The website also offers an ‘Ultimate Bookkeeping Course’ which is something sort of a PRO version. The PRO version offers deeper knowledge about accounting. The content provided is completely video-based and is published on YouTube and therefore you can access the videos anytime, anywhere. Now, this is a resource for all the professionals out there. As the logo suggests, this website provides courses that help in Professional Development, and Thought Leadership. The website also provides you with Strategic Advices. They offer various online courses as well. Today we’re going to look at the top five websites to learn Accounting online. Okay, so in this article, we’ll look at accounting in general. Even if you need resources at a more advanced level, for example, Accounting for CA/CMA/ACCA/CIMA, etc. you can go through this article and who knows you find just the resource you need!

The first one on our list at the 5th position is Coursera. This is a platform where you can not only learn but also get certified in Accounting as well as various other courses. The courses are offered by many reputed universities. The program can be completed at one’s own pace as per the student’s continence. This website provides a complete knowledge of Accounting, Book Keeping, Finance, Business and Managerial Accounting. All the content is provided in terms of articles. The website has a simple yet appealing interface. The website keeps uploading a blog related to Accounting now and then. The best part about this resource is that is completely free of cost. The resource person also has written various books which can be purchased through Amazon. The books start at around 20 USD or 1500 INR.

‘Simple Studies’ is yet another educational website that helps students and professionals to learn Accounting. As the name suggests, the website has a pretty simple interface and provides all the resources in terms of articles. The website covers almost all Accounting topics.
